Centre-back Sonny Rowland was called up to Norwich Under-18's for the first time on 7th October 2023 and was on the bench for their 7-2 defeat at Tottenham. He made his first appearance for the Under-18s against Arsenal on 11th November 2023. He had joined Norwich from Watford in 2022.

On 3rd July 2024 it was announced that Sonny was signing as an Academy scholar for the 2024/25 season.

On 17th October 2024 he signed his first professional contract with Norwich that runs until June 2007.
