Charlie Royle played for Norwich City's academy as a youngster before joining Kings Lynn aged 16. He was top scorer for their Under-19s before signing his first senior contract on 8th July 2023. He played a couple of times for the first team, and also had loan spells at Soham Town Rangers and Heacham. On 1st August 2024 it was reported he had signed for Wroxham.
