Midfielder Nathan Rudge began his career at Carrow Road. He has
since played for Bath, Mangotsfield, Clevedon before joining Chippenham
Town where his manager valued him at £20,000
Nathan eventually moved to Tiverton but his stay almost ended
in October 2003 when Weymouth manager Steve Claridge was keen
to sign Rudge. However the Tiverton manager and board have insisted
that Rudge is not for sale and Claridge turned his attentions
elsewhere.
In January 2004, Hereford were said to be preparing a £25,000
bid for Rudge, presumably using some of the money received from
the transfer of Paul Parry to Cardiff.
