On 29th March 2024 Arsenal youngster Kamarni Ryan played for Norwich's Under-18s in a behind-closed-doors friendly against Colchester United on Friday, recording an assist as the Canaries won 5-2. Ryan, joined Arsenal from Chelsea in July 2020 and can operate either as a wide player or as a striker. He is one of four players to be told their stay at the North London club won’t be extended beyond the end of the campaign. He hnd had been training at Colney as he assesses his options ahead of the summer. He also trialled with Watford.
Ryan has played 14 times for Jack Wilshere’s under-18s during 2023/24, netting three goals and as many assists. He has also been involved in their EFL Trophy campaign, making the bench for a 5-0 victory over Exeter City in October.
On 3rd June 2024 Arsenal confirmed that Kamarni was leaving the club.
On 22nd June 2024 he signed a two year professional contract with Burnley., having spent time with the Clarets on trial at the end of the 2023/24 season.
