Trevor "Guff" Saunders was the youth team goalkeeper in 1983. He failed to displace Chris Woods in the first team and played in the reserves during 1984 and 1985. After joining Colchester United, he went on to play for Great Yarmouth Town, Lowestoft, Gorleston, Bury Town, Norwich United, King's Lynn, Kettering Town and Diss Town. He also worked as a bluecoat at Caister Holiday Camp

Trevor is now Sales Manager of Poplars Motor Group at King's Lynn. Married to Jane, he has two children.
