Biography

Darlington born Mark Scott began his career with Norwich as an Associate Schoolboy in 1991, making his way into the Youth and Reserve teams over the next 4 years. He gained England Under 18 honours but failed to break into the City first team. On his release, he had an unsuccessful trial with Northampton before returning to his native North East initially joining Stockton of the Vaux Wearside League. He moved on to join Gateshead of the Unibond Northern League and then with South Shields, Billingham and Spennymoor (where he was player-coach)

After coaching wityh Middlesbrough's academy, he became Head of Sport and First Team Coach at Queen Elizabeth 6th-form College and is part of the coaching team for the English Colleges' Representative team
