Everton midfielder Thomas Scully played for Norwich's Under-18s in a 4-1 defeat to Reading on 24th March 2018. Scully scored Norwich's goal. He joined Everton from Liverpool as an Under-16 player.
Released by Everton at the end of the 2017/18 season, various sources reported in June 2018 that Scully had signed for City.
Scully signed a new one year deal with City on 20th February 2019.
On 27th May 2020, it was reported that Scully would be leaving the Canaries. He then trialled with Irish side Waterford and non-league Southport. On 2nd September 2020 he signed a two year contract with Accrington Stanley becoming their sixth signing of the summer.
He spent January 2022 to May 2022 on loan at Northern Irish side Carrick Rangers.
He moved to non-league Nantwich Town in September 2022. On 28th July 2023 he transferred to Leek Town
