Former Norwich youth team midfielder Glen Smith joined Jewson
Eastern League side Fakenham at the end of February 2002. Glen
was with Norwich from the age of 12 til 16 when he was released.
Aged 19 when he joined Fakenham, the Ghosts' manager Neil Jarvis
said "He has good habits. I know he's a good player but he
needs games" - Glen hadn't played competitively since leaving
the Canaries.
After two year with Fakenham, Glen left to study at Northampton
University where he captained their football team. In May 2006,
he informed me that he had been invited to attend pre-season training
with Kings Lynn alongside brother Adam.
