Oliver Southern joined Norwich on trial in 2021, playing for their Under-23s against Crystal Palace on 1st February 2021.

Southern, who is a centre-back from Warrington, had a spell at Manchester United before moving on to Preston, Blackburn and then Rochdale. He then enrolled at Liverpool Football College before being signed by Crewe Alexandra. “I came here to enjoy my football again and I'm glad I did as I've got this opportunity with Crewe now,” he said. “The coaches give you the right feedback and you're surrounded by good influences.”

He signed for Curzon Ashton on 1st October 2020.
