Daniel was described by the Arsenal website as "An attacking midfielder with a great passing range, Daniel was a regular for the Arsenal Under-17s in 2003/4making 17 starts and scoring one goal. He also made one substitute appearance for the Under-19s in 2003/04. Daniel is comfortable on either flank, or up front, and covers plenty of ground during the 90 minutes." Like David Bentley, he attended Highams Park school in North East London (as did my wife Jo).

Daniel played for the Norwich City Under-11s in 1997/98 before switching to the Gunners.

He joined Hertfordshire side Ware in August 2006.
