At the end of July 2024 Nick Stanley joined Norwich as Set Piece and First Team Coach replacing Andy Hughes.
Stanley's first role within football came at AFC Bournemouth as first team performance analyst intern, as well as performance analyst intern at their Centre of Excellence.
He moved to Brighton in the summer of 2012, progressing to become the club’s head of academy performance analysis. In July 2015 Stanley transitioned into the first team coaching setup, working across analysis, set pieces and first team coaching under Graham Potter and Roberto de Zerbi.
Sporting director Ben Knapper said: “We’re thrilled to welcome Nick to the club. He comes with some great experiences at a fantastic club in Brighton & Hove Albion, where he has worked alongside some top-class coaches. He will really help drive our set piece process forward as a real specialist in that area, and he can also support the broader coaching group in all aspects of team and individual development. We’re all excited to welcome Nick into our club and to start working with him to achieve our goals.”
