On the day that the
January 2005 transfer window shut, Norwich manager Nigel Worthington
added Charlton's veteran midfielder Graham Stuart to the Norwich
squad on a deal that would last until the end of the 2004/5 season.
If Norwich stay up, a small nominal fee would be paid to the Addicks.
Stuart's former clubs include Crystal Palace, Everton and Sheffield
United.
Following Norwich's
relegation to the Championship in May 2005, Nigel Worthington
released Stuart who had made just seven appearances for the Canaries.
When no club showed
an interest in his services for the 2005/6 season, he announced
his retirement at the beginning of August 2005.
