Biography

Ian Thornton was appointed Football in the Community Officer in July 2001 replacing FA bound Jamie Houchen. Ian joined the scheme in 1995, and within this time has held the positions of Assistant F.I.T.C. Officer and Football Development Officer. Ian also holds the UEFA ‘B’ Coaching license.

Ian joined the club's academy in 2003 and looks after the Under 15s and Under 16s sides
