Former West Brom defender Jordan Tunnicliffe played on trial
for Norwich's Under-21 development squad in a 2-1 defeat to Newcastle
on 29th April 2013. He left West Brom in June 2010 after playing
for six years in the youth set-up. Jordan had trialled with West
Ham in ths summer of 2012. He then joined the Nike Academy.
Tunnicliffe joined Barnsley in the summer of 2013 and played for
their Development Squad. On 11th January 2014, he was loaned to
Conference North side Stalybridge Celtic. He was released by Barnsley
in May 2014. He then played for Sutton Coldfield Town.
In December 2014, he signed for Kidderminster Harriers
In March 2016, he was loaned back to Sutton Coldfield Town
He joined AFC Fylde in 2017 and played almost every match in 2018/19 for Fylde, who won the FA Trophy and reached the National League promotion final. On 11th July 2019, he turned down a new contract with Fylde and signed for Crawley Town on a two year contract. This was extended to 2022 and he made over 100 appearances. He was named in the EFL League Two Team of the Year in 2020-21
On 1st July 2022 he transferred to National League side Wrexham on a two year deal. He made 30 appearances in his debut season as Wrexham won promotion to the Football League. He made a handful of appearances in 2023/24 as Wrexham finished third in League Two winning promotion to League One. Tunnicliffe was released by Wrexham on 3rd May 2024.
On 6th August 2024 he signed for Solihull Moors of the National League on a one year deal. He said: “It’s a local club to me, I’ve lived in the area the last few years and it’s a club that have got aspirations to get into the Football League and I want to be a part of that.I’ve got promoted from this league before and I want to try and do it again. It’s a really tough league to get out of, I know what it takes now and what the changing room has to do and we’ve got to drive those high standards.”
