Dutch triallist Frank Van Eys played for the Norwich City reserves
in a friendly at King's Lynn in August 1996. However he did not
impress the management and was not given another chance to prove
himself. He later joined Oxford on a short term contract. He has
since played for RC Mechelen in the Belgian Second Division, Vinkenslag
of the Dutch Second Division and then spent two seasons in Scotland
with Dundee. He then moved to Germany to spend a season with Ro-Weiss
Essen in the German First Division before spending 2001/02 in
Holland (TOP Oss - Dutch First Division) and China. He is now
looking for a new club having recently trialled with Alemannia
Aachen (German First Division)
