Xavier Vidal played for Norwich's Under-18s during the 2012/13 season. He was on trial from Dulwich Hamlet. Vidal scored the goal that won Dulwich Hamlet the Ryman League Division One South title for 2012/13 when he netted against Burgess Hill on 28th April 2013.

He has also trialled with Birmingham, Bolton, Brentford and Oxford United.

After playing with Welling United in the 2016/17 and being loaned to Hemel Hempstead Town, he signed for Braintree on 16th June 2017. he is described as an attacking midfielder.

He movted to Harlow on 27th July 2017.
