Trevor Walker was
a trainee professional with Norwich from 1996 to January 1998, joining
the Canaries from Sunderland's Centre of Excellence as it appeared
to "offer him the best chance to progress". Middlesborough,
Ipswich, Notts Forest and Newcastle also showed an interest in Trevor
who is able to play as either a central midfielder or as a winger
Shortly after Trevor was released by Norwich, Flown From The Nest
contributor Philip Wright happened to be in his home city of Sunderland,
and read in the Sunderland Football Echo of a Trevor Walker playing
for useful local side Seaham Red Star. Thanks Philip for this information.
