Owen
Wallis became a first year Academy scholar at Norwich City in July
2015. He plays as a defensive midfielder and joined the Canaries at Under-8 level.
On 5th May 2017, it was reported that he would be offered a professional contract with the Canaries
He was released by City on 4th May 2018.
On 30th July 2018, he signed for Southern League side Tamworth.
Lambs boss Mike Fowler said “Owen’s a good signing for us. Last year he was Norwich City’s under-23s captain and I know their coach, Matt Gill, thought he’d get offered a professional deal. We have managed to take him on board and I’m delighted. Owen’s only 19 but he’s an intelligent player who has got great technical ability. He is someone who can defend smartly. He reads the game well and he’s a fantastic passer of the ball, which will be key for us.”
Released by Tamworth, he returned closer to home joining St Ives Town in the early part of the 2018/19 season. In February 2019, he joined Soham Town Rangers on dual registration terms. He made his debut in a 3-3 home draw with Brentwood Town on 9th February 2019.
In the summer of 2019, he moved to Swedish side Orebro Syrianska
