Matt Waters had
a trial with Norwich in July 2001 playing for the Academy side and
scoring in a 5-3 victory over Blofield on 17th July 2001. It is
highly likely that Matt is the same one who was later with Clacton
Town of the Jewson Eastern League. Fed up with sitting on the bench
for Claction, Matt transferred to Stanway Rovers in the Jewson League's
Division One during the 2002/03 season. He later played for Weeley
Athletic before re-joining Clacton in the summer of 2006
