The son of former Aston Villa striker and European Cup hero Peter
Withe, Jason Withe's professional career did not emulate his father's.
He spent 1986 to 1990 with West Bromwich Albion before spending
some time in Finland with KPV Kokkola in 1990. Returning to England,
he played for Stafford Rangers, Stockport County, Crewe Alexandra,
Burnley and Telford United.
After his playing career finished, he was 'Head Coach' of Thailand
Premier League side BEC Tero Sasana. He led the side tothe domestic
double in 1999-2000. He moved to Singapore to become Manager of
Home United FC who play in the S-League where he steered them
to a respectable 2nd place in 2002. Jason then moved back to Thailand
as Technical Director and Head Coach of Bangkok Bank FC. In 2005
Jason became Assistant National Team Manager for the Indonesia
Football Association.
Jason moved back to the UK in 2007 becoming Head of Youth for
Aldershot Town FC. Jason began scouting for Norwich City FC and
is an FA Tutor delivering FA Qualifications to budding coaches. He was also chairman of Knowle. In July 2010 became Director of Football for Southam United
FC who play in the Midland Combination

He was appointed as the centre director of Leicester City Girls
Centre of Excellence in June 2011
In 2014 he joined Thai side Songkhla United as manager then moved to Nakhon Pathom United in 2015 before becoming Director of Football for Sukhothai between 2016 and 2017. They won the Thai Cup in 2016. He then managed Super Power Samut Prakan and Inter Bangkok aka Deffo before moving to the Phillipines on 30th March 2021 to be head coach for United City.
