19 year old defensive midfielder Jacob Wright joined Norwich on loan from Manchester City on 3rd February 2025. The loan agreement also includes an option to buy at the end of the season. He had made four appearances for Pep Guardiola's side, including in the 2023/24 Champions League.

On the international stage, he has represented England at every level up to Under-20s.

Wright said: "I'm really happy to be here, happy to get everything over the line on time. I'm looking forward to getting into training tomorrow and the games will be coming thick and fast."

Wright made his Norwich debut as a substitute in the 1-1 draw with Derby on 8th February 2025 and his first start (due to injury in the warm-up to Kenny McLean) on 11th February in the 1-0 defeat against Preston
