Enfield Town midfielder/striker Dernell Wynter played on trial for Norwich's Under-21s in their pre-season friendly against Dereham in July 2015

He moved to Ware in early 2016 and then joined Braintree at the beginning of the 2017/18 season. He made six starts for Braintree. In December 2017, he moved to St Albans City. He then played for Potters Bar Town, Chesham United and Hanwell Town, helping the latter win the Isthmian League South Central Division play-offs in 2021/22. The following season he played for Wingate and Finchley before moving to the Southern League with Welwyn Garden City.

On 26th June 2024 he signed for Isthmian League side Cheshunt.
