Jordan Yong joined
the Norwich City academy in July 2006. He is a winger from
Wisbech who had previously been with Cambridge United and Peterborough
and had been part of Kit Carson's football
development centre.
n April 2008, Norwich announced that they would not be giving
Yong a professional contract. He has since trialled with Southend
United and Kings Lynn (playing for the Linnets in their pre-season
defeat to Corby in July 2008)
Yong joined Wisbech for the 2009/10 Ridgeons League season
In the spring of 2010, Jordan moved to New Zealand to play for
Richmond Athletic FC
Returning to England, Jordan trialled with Kings Lynn in July 2011
before signing for them.. He helped Lynn to the Evo-Stick (Northern
League) Division One South title in 2012/13.
He stayed with Lynn until 31st July 2017 when he signed for United Counties League side Wisbech Town. He had played almost 300 games for the Linnets. He is due to leave England in December 2017 to play for Malaysian side Melaka United..
