Two
Norwich players were on the scoresheet during Norwich's 1-1 draw at Plymouth.
Simon Charlton put through his own
net before Darren Huckerby equalised. In the Premiership, the only former Canary to score was Bobby Zamora who scored West Ham's equaliser at Villa Park before the Londoners went on to win 2-1. In the Championship, Paul Peschisolido opened the scoring for Derby in the 11th minute as they romped to a 5-1 victory over Crewe who fielded Mark Rivers. In League One, Nicky Southall scored Forest's third as they disposed off Oldham 3-0. Che Wilson scored Southend's fourth as they defeated Brentford 4-1 at home. His goal in the 78th minute came just two minutes after coming on as substitute for Spencer Prior. No former Norwich players were on the scoresheet in League Two although Adam Tann was named in The League Paper's League 2 team of the week even though his side (Notts County) lost 2-0 to Wycombe and he was booked. |
