Very few goals were scored by former Canaries this weekend although three players helped their sides to a place in the FA Cup final.

Peter Crouch
played 69 minutes of Liverpool's 2-1 semi-final victory over Chelsea. Dean Ashton played the majority of West Ham's semi-final win over Middlesbrough, providing the pass from which former Norwich target Marlon Harewood scored the only goal of the game. Ashton was also involved in an incident that saw Boro keeper Mark Schwarzer substituted with a broken cheekbone; the Australian international might miss the World Cup. Although Ashton was not booked for that incident, he received a yellow card for a challenge on Schwarzer's replacement Brad Jones. The Hammers' appearance in the FA Cup final will guarantee them a place in the UEFA Cup next season, thus activating a clause in the Ashton transfer which sees a further £125,000 head to Carrow Road. Bobby Zamora was a late substitute for the Hammers.

In the Championship, David Healy scored the only goal of the game as Leeds beat Crewe. Rob Earnshaw celebrated a return to Ninian Park scoring the only goal of the game as Norwich defeated Cardiff and climbed above them to eighth place in the Championship.

In League Two, Danny Crow struck twice as Peterborough defeated Macclesfield 3-2.

No goals were scored by former Canaries in the Premiership, League One, Conference or Scottish Leagues.

Mark Rivers was absent from the Carlisle squad that won promotion to League One with a 1-1 draw at Mansfield.
