Football Insider claim Norwich City and Aston Villa are reportedly battling it out to sign AFC Wimbledon goalkeeper Matthew Cox. Cox is yet to make a senior appearance for the Dons but was named on the bench for 17 League One games last season. The 18-year-old signed his first professional deal at Plough Lane in May 2020 and has been capped three times by England at Under-17 level.

The Pink Un reported that subject to any last minute hitches, 20 year old Scottish international midfielder Billy Gilmour would be joining Norwich on a season long loan from Chelsea, with the Canaries having beaten off competition from Wolves, Rangers and other Premier League sides. City boss Daniel Farke was Under-23 coach at Borussia Dortmund when current Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel was in charge and the pair enjoy a close relationship. The City boss' tactical style, record of developing young talent and the success of Oliver Skipp's loan from Spurs last season are all said to have worked in the Canaries' favour. City's interest was first reported on 22nd June.

Barcelona-based newspaper Diario Sport claim that West Ham, Brighton and Burnley are joined by Norwich in showing top-flight interest from England, as well as an unnamed Russian club, in Barcelona's Danish international forward Martin Braithwaite. That's despite Braithwaite previously struggling to make an impact in England, joining Middlesbrough for a reported £9million from Toulouse in the summer of 2017, after Boro had been relegated from the Premier League. Diario Sport claim Barcelona have no need for Braithwaite any longer after the high-profile free transfers of forwards Sergio Aguero and Memphis Depay, and that he is not expected to return to Ronald Koeman's squad for pre-season.

La Voix Du Nord, a regional newspaper in northern France, have published an interview with lawyer Maitre Moustapha Kamara alongside claims that Norwich, Angers, Servette and Club Brugge are among the top-flight clubs interested in Lille's Senegalese midfielder Cheikh Niasse. The 21-year-old defensive midfielder spent the second half of the 2020/21 season on loan at Panathinaikos, starting 13 of his 15 games as fifth place was secured in the Greek Super League,

The Chronicle claim Norwich City are reportedly interesting in signing Newcastle United youngster Matty Longstaff on loan. Anderlecht, Middlesbrough and West Brom are also credited with an interest in the 21-year-old midfielder

Football Insider claimed that Norwich and Scottish giants Celtic are interested in Exeter's 21 year old winger Joel Randall that Exeter have turned down a six-figure bid from Championship new boys Peterborough United. He made his senior debut at 18 before gaining senior experience with five non-league loan stints. Randall forced his way into Matt Taylor's team during 2020/21and scored 10 goals and assisted five during 36 appearances in all competitions, with eight of those goals coming in the league. Charlton are reported to have had three bids turned down in January, with Addicks boss at the time Lee Bowyer claiming a deal worth "around £1million" had not been enough to secure the signing. A later update suggested that Norwich didn't have any interest in Randall.

Italian-based Spanish football journalist, Giacomo Iacobellis, claimed Celta Vigo's attacking midfielder Brais Mendez is a player on Norwich City's radar after a stand out season in La Liga. Southampton and Lyon are also interested. The 24-year-old is being tipped with a summer exit from boyhood club Celta after nine goals in 34 La Liga appearances last season.

The Mirror claim 25-year-old Bournemouth midfielder Philip Billing is likely to leave the Cherries after their play-off disappointment and that City are keen to take him back to the top flight. Billing is a player that Canaries sporting director Stuart Webber will know well from their time together at Huddersfield.The Dane had joined the Terriers as a youngster and had already made his senior debut by the time Webber arrived at the West Yorkshire club as head of football operations in the summer of 2015.

An overnight report that Bosnia & Herzegovina international Stjepan Loncar is close to agreeing a deal to join Norwich City is believed to be inaccurate. The 24-year-old midfielder was linked with the Canaries by media outlets in Italy and Bosnia, after a strong season for Croatian side Rijeka. He scored three goals and assisted six during 42 appearances this season, starting all six Europa League group stage games, scoring during a 2-2 draw away to Real Sociedad. Bosnian news outlet SportSport claimed a deal worth around £2.5million was close

Norwich City and Fiorentina are reportedly leading the interest in Pedro de La Vega, with the Canaries said to see the Argentinian Under-23 international winger as a possible replacement for Emi Buendia. He playes for Lanus.

TeamTalk claim that Liverpool and Wales right-back Neco Williams is reportedly a player Norwich City have in mind as a potential replacement for Max Aarons this summer. The Wrexham-born youngster was on the fringes of the Reds' first team this season, making 14 appearances in all competitions, starting two Champions League games and three Premier League matches.

Fulham’s Tosin Adarabioyo is a target for Norwich City, as per a report by The Athletic. Adarabioyo started his career at Manchester City and rose up through the youth ranks of the current Premier League champions. He went on to make eight appearances for the North West side. The 6ft 5inc defender gained his first taste of regular first-team football on loan in the Championship at West Brom in the 2017/18 season. Blackburn Rovers then came calling for the campaign after and he played 35 times for Tony Mowbray’s side. The ex-England youth international joined Fulham last summer and made 34 appearances in all competitions as they slipped to relegation to the second tier.

The agent of AC Milan midfielder Rade Krunic claims Norwich City are one of the clubs interested in signing the Bosnia & Herzegovina midfielder this summer. His agent, Predrag Risticvic, has spoken to MilanNews24 and said: “We have many offers from England and Germany, the Italian teams have not yet contacted us. One of the clubs most interested in Krunic is Norwich City."

The Standard claim Inter Milan, Mancester United Tottenham, Arsenal and even Norwich are all credited with interest in Lille defender Zeki Celik.

According to the Peterborough Telegraph, Peterborough chairman Darragh MacAnthony has confirmed Scotland Under-19 international midfielder Flynn Clarke is set to join a 'Premier League team' in the next few weeks and that the club is Norwich. Clarke’s agent is Integral Sports Management, whose head of football operations is former Posh player Mark Arber, whose father, Bobby works for City as a scout. 

Norwich are reported to have joined the race for Blackburn striker Adam Armstrong along with Southampton, West Ham and Newcastle. The 24-year old scored a phenomenal 28 goals in 40 games in 2020/21.

FootballLeague World and (0 Minutes report that Norwich City are one of a number of clubs interested in signing 19-year-old Roma midfielder Ebrima Darboe. Darboe has enjoyed a landmark campaign this season, making his debut for Roma in both Serie A and the Europa League. In total, the teenager has made six first-team appearances in all competitions, and it now seems as though he is starting to attract plenty of attention from England. Norwich are battling Premier League sides such as West Ham, Brighton, Crystal Palace and Southampton for his signature.

TeamTalk suggest Norwich are interested in Barnsley striker Daryl Dike who scored nine goals in 22 matches after joining on loan from US side Orlando City

North-East newspaper the Chronicle claims the Canaries and West Ham are monitoring 22 year old Sunderland player Josh Hawkes' situation, reporting that Leeds, Newcastle and Palace are interested. He was signed from Hartlepool last summer but hasn't been involved in the Sunderland first team this season. He has, however, been starring for the Black Cats' under-23s with 14 goals and seven assists from 22 games in Division Two of Premier League Two - including a brace during a 3-2 win over the Norwich U23s at Colney last month.

Spanish winger Adrian Embarta was linked with Norwich by Spanish daily sports newspaper Diario AS who claim he is unhappy at Espanyol and that Norwich, West Ham, Wolves and Watford are all interested.

Greuther Furth right back Marco Meyerhofer is linked with a summer swoop by Norwich but Brexit might prohibit a work permit. The 25-year-old German played a pivotal role in their promotion back to the Bundesliga this season, starting 33 games and registering nine assists as Furth finished as runners-up behind Bochum.

Sky claim that Werder Bremen youngster Eren Dinkci is poised for a Premier League move to Norwich City. The 19 year old striker scored once in 10 league and cup appearances for Bremen - including a winner on his debut in December against Mainz - in Werder's relegation from the German top flight. However this was dismissed by Norwich.

Algerian football site, La Gazette du Fennec, report that Norwich City retain an interest in 21 year old Bordeaux wide player Mehdi Zerkane who made his international debut in an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in November. Zerkane is reportedly also being tracked by Aston Villa, who according to L'Equipe have made contact with his representatives. The left-footer is under contract until 2024 but Bordeaux are reportedly in financial difficulty and would consider a good offer for the £1.8m rated wide player.

With City in the market for a wide player who can operate down the middle for the top flight return and transfer guru, Pete O'Rourke, claims former Bournemouth and Everton attacker Josh King could fit the bill.  King is under contract at Everton until the end of the current Premier League season after joining the Toffees from Bournemouth in January for a nominal fee. The Norwegian international spent six years on the south-coast, scoring 48 league goals in 173 appearances.

The Pink Un reported that with Organ Nyland's future up in the air with the Norwegian international yet to sign an extension on his current deal, the Canaries have begun contingency planning should they require a new number two this summer. Amongst those names are former City loan keeper Angus Gunn and Brighton's Christian Walton, who is due to depart the club next month when his contract expires. Walton is set to leave Brighton after eight years on the books at the Amex Stadium, making just six senior appearances at the club. He was set to replace Mat Ryan as number one last summer, but an injury suffered in pre-season and the emergence of Robert Sanchez scuppered those plans.  The 6ft4 shot-stopper has two spells on loan at Wigan Athletic in the Championship back in 2017/18 and 2018/19 seasons.

According to the Daily Mail, Celtic midfielder Ryan Christie is reportedly on Norwich City’s radar this summer with the Glasgow giants reportedly keen to sell. Christie is out of contract at Parkhead in January and would be free to negotiate a free transfer this summer. However  Celtic are keen to realise a fee for the 26-year-old with Burnley also interested. 

The Sun claim Manchester United's highly-rated full back Brandon Williams is being touted as a summer target for Norwich City with City have 'joined the race' to take the 20-year-old on loan next season. Both Premier League rivals Southampton and West Ham are also monitoring the situation. The Manchester-bred defender make his first team breakthrough as an aggressive left back - clocking up 37 appearances in his debut season - but can operate on either flank.

Teamtalk report Brentford, Brighton, Blackburn, Sheffield United, Swansea and Norwich City are among the clubs interesting in signing Farense’s Ryan Gauld, who is out of contract in the summer. He was considered one of the brightest talents in Scotland when he joined Sporting Lisbon from Dundee United as a teenager. Things didn’t really work out for Gauld in the Portuguese capital but he has really found his feet in Farense, who he helped to promotion to the top-flight last season. And, he has continued to shine against the best in the country, with Gauld scoring eight goals and registering six assists in the Primeira Liga.

The Eastern Daily Press have ruled Norwich City out of a summer move for Leicester City’s Hamza Choudhury. Links have recently emerged linking the central defensive midfielder to Carrow Road, though the EDP deem them ‘wide of the mark.

Norwich City are among a clutch of clubs monitoring Vitesse centre back Danilho Doekhi. The Canaries are reportedly keep on the former Ajax Academy product but will face competitions for the 22-year-old defender from Newcastle and Rangers according to the Telegraph. Doekhi has just one year left on his contract with the Eredevisie side and could be available at a knockdown price.

German publication Bild report that Norwich are interested in signing Union Berlin midfielder Robert Andrich. Andrich will be out of contract in Berlin in the summer of 2022 and has therefore been earmarked by Farke as an ideal target for a cut-price fee. The 26-year-old midfielder can be used in a number 10 position and has scored five goals for Union in 28 appearances this season.

TeamTalk reports that Norwich are one of a number of teams keeping tabs on Young Boys defender Ali Camara. The 23-year-old is a Guinean international and boasts some impressive performance data in the Swiss Super League this season. Camara has played 27 times for Young Boys this season, and would just about qualify for a work permit due to their participation in both the Champions League and the Europa League this season. Liverpool, Arsenal, Crystal Palace and West Ham are also tracking the defender. 

The Sun on Sunday claim Norwich City have outed Nottingham Forest’s defender Joe Worrall as a potential summer recruit ahead of their Premier League return.

Bristol City striker Saikou Janneh is on the radar of Premier League new-boys Norwich as a group of clubs consider making a move this summer. Janneh, 21, has caught the eye of the Canaries as boss Daniel Farke looks to piece together a squad capable of staying in the top flight next season.But there is also competition from Brighton and fellow promoted side Watford for the Gambian forward who has two years left on his current deal at Ashton Gate. Hertha Berlin and Bayer Leverkusen have also shown an interest as the German clubs look to scour the Championship for players with potential

Norwich City have been linked with Metz centre back Boubakar Kouyaté who is a Mali international. Respected French sports brand, L'Equipe, claimed on Friday night both Norwich and Southampton are eyeing the £4.5m rated powerhouse Ligue 1 defender, with Italian duo AS Roma and Atalanta monitoring his situation. The 24-year-old, who can also operate at right back and in defensive midfield, has caught the eye for Metz in his debut campaign and is now being tipped with a summer move. The former Sporting youth prospect is reportedly under contract until 2024, following his move from second tier Troyes

Norwich are linked to Celtic's Norwegian international centre-back Kristofer Ajer according to transfer news website CaughtOffside.com, who claim Newcastle are also keen on the 23 year old. Ajer has made 173 appearances for Celtic since joining from Norwegian club IK Start as a teenager, making 16 appearances in the Scottish Premiership while on loan at Kilmarnock during his first campaign in Scotland. As well as winning 21 international caps the defender has won three Scottish titles, two Scottish Cups and two Scottish League Cups with the Hoops.

The top scorer in the Dutch Eredivisie, Georgios Giakoumakis, has been linked with Norwich City. Giakoumakis has scored 24 goals in 26 appearances for VVV Venlo in the Dutch top flight . TeamTalk claimed the Canaries are now 'looking' at the 26-year-old, who is a Greek international team mate of recent import Dimitris Giannoulis. Norwich, along with Brighton and Southampton, have been monitoring his impressive progress this season.

Manchester United midfielder James Garner's agent claims Norwich have been monitoring the midfielder who spent the 2020/21 season on loan first at Watford and then at Notts Forest. The youngster's agent, Steven Beck, has spoken to United fans' website Stretty News and revealed that Blackburn and Scottish giants Rangers were also interested in his client

Fenerbahce’s highly-rated central midfielder Ozan Tufan is heading to the Premier League – with Norwich City reportedly tracking the Turkey international. Tufan was touted as a target for Crystal Palace last season and more recently linked with champions Liverpool, but Turkish sports newspaper, Fotospor, suggest the Canaries are also keen on the box-to-box midfielder. Fotospor claim that the 26 year old is the first choice of Daniel Farke and Stuart Webber who is drawing up plans for serious investment in Tufan if City are promoted.

Norwich City should make a move for Bournemouth forward Josh King this summer, according to former Premier League striker Noel Whelan. “Josh King has probably still kept his name out there for other teams to take that opportunity,” Whelan told Football Insider“Norwich might be a good one for him. They’re always looking for players in that kind of style of play. Someone who can run in behind alongside Teemu Pukki. "The 29-year-old is a free agent at the end of the season. King is currently on loan at Everton but there are reports the Toffees are unlikely to offer the Bournemouth striker a deal beyond the summer.

Norwich City have been linked with a move for 22 year old Dutch centre back Sam Beukema who plays for Go Ahead Eagles in the Dutch second division. Beukema has played 28 times this season, netting on seven occasions. Dutch outlet De Stentor are reporting that the Canaries are one of several clubs to display an interest in the former FC Twente youth product with  FC Utrecht, AZ Alkmaar and Feyenoord already making contact with the Go Ahead Eagles according to the report. Bundesliga Champions League contenders Eintract Frankfurt have also been credited with an interest in Beukema, as well as Italian clubs Parma and Bologna. However it is thought highly unlikely that he would qualify for a work permit if Norwich were interested.

According to the Daily Mail Norwich are looking to sign Cardiff City midfielder Will Vaulks.The Welsh international is reportedly rated at £7 million by the Bluebirds and it’s thought that Norwich will have money to spend in the summer, with the Canaries likely to be in the Premier League next season. 27-year-old Vaulks has been a regular for Cardiff this season, appearing in 36 Championship games and netting four goals, with two assists also to his name. With there being no guarantee that Norwich can get Tottenham Hotspur loanee Oliver Skipp back next season, the club will be shopping about for a new player to come into their engine room.

The Daily Mail report that Norwich, Notts Forest and QPR are interested in Brentford's ex-Danish youth international Emiliano Marcondes with the 26 year old attacking midfielder out of contract in the summer.

Transfermarkt.co.uk suggest that Norwich City have reportedly joined the race to sign Schalke striker Matthew Hoppe. The 20-year-old American has been a rare bright spot in a disastrous season for the Gelsenkirchen based side who sit rooted to the bottom of the Bundesliga. Hoppe has netted five times in 15 games in the German top-flight during this campaign. Dutch giants Ajax, current Premier League champions Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur are also listed as clubs interested in signing Hoppe with a fee of around €7-10 million believed to be enough to secure his signature this summer.

Norwich City could be interested in a summer move for Paderborn captain Sebastian Schonlau, a report from German regional outlet Westfalen Blatt has claimed. Schnlau is out of contract at the end of this season, having made a total of 161 appearances in all competitions for the club since graduating from their academy. During that time, Schonlau helped Paderborn win back to back promotions from the third-tier of German football to the Bundesliga

Acording to TeamTalk Norwich are one of five clubs who have scouted former MK Dons and Cardiff striker Rhys Healy who has scored nine goals in 20 games for French Ligue 2 side Toulouse. City are among a number to have 'checked on his progress' in recent months. West Brom, Middlesbrough, Sheffield United and Bournemouth are also reportedly keeping tabs on Healey.

Championship promotion rivals Norwich City and Brentford are reportedly keen to beat Burnley to the signing of Huddersfield Town midfielder Lewis O'Brien. That's according to The Sun on Sunday, who report the Canaries have the Terriers' reigning Player of the Year award winner on their 'wanted list' ahead of the summer transfer window.

The Peterborough Telegraph report that Norwich City have reportedly had a £700K bid rejected for Peterborough United youngster Flynn Clarke. The Posh hierarchy have dismissed City’s bid as derisory and rate the 18-year-old as highly as James Maddison when he was that age. He was recently called up to the Scotland Under-19 squad.

Norwich City have held talks with former Aston Villa goalkeeper Orjan Nyland over joining the Championship leaders on a free transfer according to the Eastern Daily Press. The Canaries are considering the Norwegian international as cover for the injured Michael McGovern.

Norwich City have submitted an initial loan offer to Greek side PAOK for left-back Dimitris Giannoulis which would see the club sign him permanently in the summer for €7.5m. He has been a key player for the Greek giants over the past few years, and he has registered two assists in 12 league games this season. He has been capped 11 times by Greece.

Norwich City have been linked with a move for Chelsea winger Lucas Piazon. The Canaries are reportedly monitoring the 26-year-old, who is currently on loan at Rio Ave in the Portuguese top-flight, along with Stoke City and Bordeaux. Italian football website www.tuttomercatoweb.com claim Norwich could make a move for the Brazilian with Chelsea set to recall the player from his loan spell. Piazon has had a string of loan spells whilst at Chelsea with stints at Malaga, Vitesse Arnhem, Eintracht Frankfurt, Fulham and Chievo.

Norwegian left-back Fredrik Andre Bjorkan has been linked with a number of clubs in England, with Norwich City reportedly keen on the defender ahead of the January transfer window according to TeamTalk. The 22-year-old is currently playing for Bodo Glimt in Norway. Brighton and Hove Albion, Leeds United, Newcastle United, Bournemouth and the Canaries are all mentioned as sides who have an interest in the left-back. Bjorkan has been tipped to leave his home country after helping Bodo secure the title this season. 

The Daily Mail claim the Canaries are alongside Championship rivals Nottingham Forest and Queens Park Rangers in tracking 25-year-old Brentfords attacking midfielder Emiliano Marcondes whose contract expires in the summer of 2021. Marcondes, a former Denmark U21 international, emerged from the youth system of Nordsjaelland and flourished with 17 goals and nine assists while playing mostly as a striker to help secure third place in the Danish top flight in 2017. He joined Brentford in January of 2018 but after a slow start to life in England, failing to score in his first 25 Championship appearances, he returned to Denmark on loan for the second half of the 2019 campaign. Marcondes helped Midtjylland - who are also owned by Brentford owner Matthew Benham - seal the 2019 Superligaen title with two goals in two assists in 12 games. He returned to Brentford for the second half of the 2019-20 Championship season and enjoyed more success in midfield roles, racking up two goals and seven assists in 25 games in the Championship, being introduced an hour into the play-off final defeat to Fulham at Wembley.

The Manchester Evening News claimed that Manchester City's 20 year centre-back Joel Latibeaudiere, who can also operate at full back, was in discussions with both Norwich City and Championship rivals Reading. City are looking for cover following the departure of Ben Godfrey and Timm Klose. Latibeaudiere spent 2018/19 on loan to Dutch side FC Twente. Latibeaudiere was also part of the England Under-17 set up that won the World Cup at that level in 2017.

Following the departure of Timm Klose, Arsenal highly-rated teenage centre back William Saliba was reported to be a player of interest. Saliba, who can also operate at right back, joined the Gunners from St Etienne for a reported £27m in 2019 but another proposed loan spell at his former club fell through..

According to the Bimingham Mail Norwich City have joined Aston Villa in the race to sign Northampton Town starlet Caleb Chukwuemeka. The 18-year-old is understood to have rejected a professional contract with the Cobblers. Wolves and Sheffield United are also linked.

The Pink Un reported West Ham striker Jordan Hugill could be the next player to join the refreshed Norwich City squad, with negotiations believed to already be under way. The former Preston forward scored 15 goals in 41 games in all competitions for Queens Park Rangers

Various media sources link Norwich City with Burnley’s Ben Gibson and Chelsea’s Ethan Ampadu as potential additions for an error-prone back line.Burnley's record signing Gibson though is training with his former club Middlesboro owned by his uncle Steve Gibson. The Press Association linked Welsh international Ampadu with City but Michael Bailey of The Athletic then updated that he was expected to join Fulham on loan.

The Telegraph suggest Norwich are interested in 19 year old Liverpool left-back Yasser Larouci. He still has a year left on his contract but BBC Sport reported in June that the Algerian full-back would be leaving this summer, suggesting talks with Leeds and Brentford had already been held

Norwich and Middlesboro are believed to be watching .young Paris St Germain defender Loic Mbe Soh according to French newspaper L'Equipe. The France Under-19 centre-back, who was born in Cameroon, will reportedly leave the French giants this summer as he has entered the final 12 months of his contract. The report claims the Canaries and Championship rivals Middlesbrough have shown interest in the youngster, stating that Le Havre have previously been keen and that Spanish sides Cadiz and Mallorca are also interested. The 19-year-old captained PSG’s under-19s in the group stages of the Uefa Youth League last season but only made one senior appearance. He was also an unused substitute during four games for the super-rich Parisians, having joined their academy system at 12 years old. He has captained France throughout his youth levels and led PSG’s U17s to a league title in 2017, eventually earning a three-year contract in 2018.
