15 year old Alfie Doy made his debut for Norwich City Under-18s in the 4-1 defeat at Sunderland on 16th October 2021 coming on as substitute for Osman Foyo in the 83rd minute. He had joined Norwich as an Under-10. He played 261 minutes for the under-18s during 2021/22.
Prior to joining Norwich, he played youth football for East Coast Warriors and Sheringham. It was when he was at Under-9s level that he began trialling with Norwich.
He signed on as an apprentice with Norwich in July 2022. He is described as a ball-playing centre-back.
Doy signed his first professional contract with Norwich in July 2024.
Alfie joined Wroxham on a one month loan on 14th December 2024.
