Michee Efete became
part of Norwich's Under-18 squad during 2012/13 whilst as part
of the Under-16s team. He attended Cardinal Pole school
in Hackney, London. He was previously with Crystal Palace.
He became an Academy Scholar in the summer of 2013
Efete has been capped by the Congo at Under-21 level.
He was awarded a professional contract in April 2015. He signed a new one year contract on 10th June 2016. He was offered a one year extension in May 2017 following consistent performances in the Under-23s heloing them reach two semi-finals during 2016/17.
On 12th May 2017, he joined Icelandic side Breidablik on loan until 30th June 2017. On his return, he then trialled with Aldershot ahead of a possible move to the Shots.
On 31st August 2017, he joined Conference side Torquay on loan until January 2018. This was extended until the end of the 2017/18 season. He had played 14 games in the first half of the season. He finished the season with 26 appearances as Torquay were relegated from the Conference. He was then informed by Norwich that they would not be renewing his contract.
In July 2018, he trialled for Jerry Gill's Bath City against Reading, scoring the winner. Gill said "Michee Efete I've known for four or five years. "I worked with him, he was on my scholars when I was at Norwich City, so I've known him for a long time. I've got a soft spot for him; he's a good lad. He's based in London, so I've had a conversation with him over the summer and he's come in on trial. I thought he was brilliant, he did really well; all the trialists played a part today as well. It's nice for him to get a goal, he doesn't score many. He then signed for Maidstone on 27th July 2018.
Michee joined Billericay on 11th January 2019 but moved on to Wealdstone on 7th July 2019.
He was released by Wealdstone on 4th June 2021. He joined Grimsby Town, newly relegated to the National League, on 22nd June 2021; his first professional contract since his time at Norwich. He helped Grimsby secure promotion to the Football League in his first season. Efete was also part of Grimsby’s side which reached the quarter-finals of the FA Cup last season, with victories over Luton Town and Southampton before they fell to a 5-0 loss to Brighton in the last-eight. For his efforts, he was named in the FA Cup Team of the Year.
On 1st February 2024 he signed for Scottish Premiership side Ross County on a deal until the end of the season. He had played 80 games for the Mariners, scoring four goals. He made his debut on 3rd February against St Johnstone.
