18 year old striker Kole Lambert signed for Norwich City on a youth team contract from Basford United on 31st January 2019. He was previously with Notts Forest and Notts County. He had a successful trial period with the club, having featured in the Under-18s’ Premier League games against West Ham United and Reading.

Head of Recruitment Kieran Scott said: “Kole was brought to my attention when he was playing for Basford United, a club in the Nottingham area. Basford are a club that gives lads from the area a second chance. They were very accommodating when we approached them, and we thank them for allowing Kole to come and spend some time with us here before signing."

He moved to Ilkerston Town in November 2019
