Winger Craig Lewis
was released as a trainee professional by Norwich City in the spring
of 1997. Despite a trial at Scarborough, he could not find league
football and so joined his hometown team of Great Yarmouth (then
in the Jewson Eastern Counties League). The Pink Un reported
on September 12th that Craig was to have another trial with a professional
club, this time with Plymouth Argyle.
Craig joined Dale Gordon's Gorleston in
February 1999. Craig moved to Wroxham in the summer of 2000 along
with fellow Gorleston player Scott Snowling.
Craig moved back to the coast in the summer of 2003 joining Lowestoft
Town. Lowestoft won the Ridgeons League trophy in the 2005/6 season,
securing the title with a 2-0 win over Needham Market on 29th April
2006.
Craig moved back to Gorleston in late September 2009, following
a loan spell with The Greens.
