On 22nd June 2021 Norwich signed Milot Rashica from Werder Bremen to replace Emiliano Buendia. The Kosovo international has signed a four-year deal after completing a medical The 24-year-old is set to become only the second Kosovo international to play in the Premier League. It's believed that City have paid around £8million initially and it’s understood additional fees could see the deal reach around £11m eventually to become the Canaries’ record purchase.

Rashica scored three times and made five more for Bremen as they were relegated from the Bundesliga last season, taking his total for the club to 27 in 100 appearances.

The attacker looked to be on the move in the summer of 2020, when German newspaper Bild were reporting that Bremen had rejected a deal worth around £15million from RB Leipzig because they were holding out for a package worth more than £20m. AC Milan, Hertha Berlin and Aston Villa were also among the clubs linked with Rashica

Before joining Bremen in January 2018, he was with Vitesse Arnhem where he won the Dutch Cup alongsite Ricky Van Wolfswinkel. He made 83 appearances for Vitesse between 2015 and 2018. Before that he was with Kurda and Vustrria in his homeland. he had a trial with Belgian side Gent in August 2013.

He was capped by Albania at Under-17, Under-19, Under-21 and full international level, playing at the latter level against Luxembourg in March 2016 and against Qatar in May 2016. In August 2016 he switched his international allegience to Kosova and made his debut for them against Finland in a World Cup qualifier in September 2016. His first international goal for Kosovo was against the Faroe Islands in October 2018. At the time of his transfer to Norwich, he had 32 caps for Kosovo and had scored six goals.

Rashica made his Norwich debut on the opening day of the 2021/22 season in the home defeat to Liverpool

Rashica scored his first goal for Noriwch in the 1-0 win at Charlton in the third round of the FA Cup at Charlton on 9th January 2022 after coming on as substitute.

He made 35 appearances, scoring twice in 2021/22 as Norwich finished bottom of the Premier League.

On 14th June 2022 it was reported that Milot wanted away from Norwich following their relegation and that German side Schalke 04 had made an enquiry offering a loan worth £1.5million with an obligation to buy for £8m at the end of the 2022/23 campaign.

After struggling to impress at the beginning of the 2022/23 Championship season, Rashica joined Turkish giants Galatasaray on a season-long loan, a deal confirmed on 12th September 2022 but announced by the Canaries on 8th September. No permanent option has been included in the deal to sign the Kosovan, while the Lions will pay Rashica €1.5million (around £1.3million) in wages during the loan.

Norwich head coach Dean Smith has left the door open to a future return to his plans, however, saying: "Like all the loans, Christos Tzolis and Przemek Placheta are the same, it's to continue their development. You can't be carrying a squad of 30. The only way we can keep these players developing is to loan them out".

.He scored six goals and provided five assists in 26 appearances for Gala as they headed for the Turkish title. At the end of April 2023 the media claimed Burnley were eying an £11m move for the 26-year-old but Rashica’s representative, Aykut Erçetin, has told Turkish radio station Radyospor on Monday rumoured interest from Burnley ‘does not reflect the truth’. "Milot Rashica is very happy to be in Galatasaray and in Turkey. Milot Rashica's heart is in favour of staying in Galatasaray,” said Erçetin. "Milot Rashica has become the indispensable name of the first 11. Okan (Buruk) is very pleased with Milot Rashica's contribution to both attack and defence. Once the Turkish season is concluded, the Gala club president expects to open dialogue with Norwich over a £7.5million transfer or another season long loan.

Rashica and Galatasaray secured the Turkish title on 30th May 2023 defeating Ankaragucu 4-1 away with two weeks remaining in the campaign.

After returning to Norwich for pre-season, Milot returned to Turkey on 12th August 2023 signing for Besiktas for an undisclosed fee, covering the majority of Norwich;s outlay. The only issue was that Galatasaray also wanted to re-sign Rashica. This adds to the long-term feud between Besiktas and Galatasaray.

On 19th February 2024 it was reported by Turkish outlet Takvim that Leeds had made a £6million offer for Rashica but it was rejected by Besiktas.
