Tom Weal left his role as Norwich's Head of Academy Goalkeeping at the end of November 2021 to become first team goalkeeping coach for Notts County following the departure of Jake Kean.
He had joined Norwich in June 2017 as an academy coach before moving to the Head of Academy Goalkeeping role in July 2019. He had previously been at Norwich as Goalkeeping Development Centre Lead Coach between 2011 and 2013, having previously worked for City's Football in the Community. He has also worked for Huddersfield (October 2013-November 2015) and Notts Forest (November 2015 to June 2017).
He moved on 8th July 2024 to take up the goalkeeping coach role at MK Dons. The head coach Mike Williamson said:
"Tom joins us as a very highly rated goalkeeping coach. It's an important role for us this season and one we wanted to get right. The attention to detail he'll provide for our 'keepers is next level. It's a really exciting appointment for the football club."
