The Norwich City youth team of 1987/88 had a number of players contesting the goalkeepers spot. In addition to Neil Forsdick, there was Jason Batty, Marcus Ling and Mark Hemmings . After leaving Norwich, Neil played for Yarmouth Town of the Eastern Counties League and then later their rivals Watton United.

After a spell with Diss Town of the Jewson Eastern Counties League (primarily with the Reserves though he has occupied the First Team No.1 shirt), he is currently playing for Hempnall in the Anglian Combination.
