The Norwich City
youth team of 1987/88 had a number of players contesting the goalkeepers
spot. In addition to Mark Hemmings there was
Jason
Batty,
Neil Forsdick and
Marcus Ling .
After leaving Norwich City, Mark played for Gorleston Town and Great
Yarmouth of the Eastern Counties League and Fakenham Town Reserves
in Division One of the Lovewell Blake Anglian Combination (the league
which is one level lower than the Jewson Eastern Counties League).
Mark then joined ambitious Mulbarton of the Anglian Combination
but moved on to join Eastern Counties league champions Wroxham.
In December 1998, he was signed for Gorleston by their new manager
Dale Gordon.
