According to reports from South America, Norwich have been tracking Chilean forward Lucas Assadi. Encancha have claimed that the Canaries were competing with Southampton, Everton and Newcastle United for the signing of Assadi, who has scored three goals in 11 appearances during the 2023 season. Assadi currently plays for Universidad de Chile, in the Chilean Primera Division.

Brazilian news site Itatiaia claimed that Sao Paulo right back Nathan and Corinthians attacker Mosquito are the latest potential targets identified by the Canaries’ south American scouts.
Nathan is a 20-year-old full back who has made 15 appearances for Sao Paulo in a breakout year that included minutes in Brazil's top tier and the Copa Sudamericana. The attacking right back is under contract until December 2024, and was previously on loan at Coritiba, City’s partner club in the territory.
Corinthians right-sided attacker Mosquito is out of contract at the end of the current league season in Brazil, which runs from April to December, and could reportedly sign a pre-contract from July 2023 onwards. The 25-year-old had 11 goal contributions from 50 appearances in the 2022/23 season, and featured in the Copa Libertadores, but has been sidelined since October after rupturing knee ligaments. Mosquito, who can operate anywhere along the front three, is on course to return to action in the first half of July.

According to Sports Digitale editor Yagiz Sabuncuoglu, Norwich are closing in on the signing of 22 year old Spanish winger Borja Sainz from Turkish side Giresunspor. Sainz is under contract with Giresunspor, but has a clause in his contract that allows him to depart for no transfer fee after the club’s relegation from the Turkish top flight.He's also spent time in Spain with Alaves and on loan at Real Zaragoza, making a total 40 appearances in La Liga.

Former Canary Nathan Redmond has also been linked with a Carrow Road return, but isn't understood to be a a player of interest at present.

According to Football Insider Norwich City, Ipswich Town and Watford are plotting moves to sign winger Georgi Rusev. The Bulgarian, 24, has caught the eye of a number of clubs across Europe after impressing for club and country over the last 12 months. He was outstanding for CSKA 1948 last season with over 20 goal contributions for his side, scoring seven goals and providing 15 assists in 39 games in all competitions. Rusev received his first call-up for the Bulgaria national team on 5 September 2022 for UEFA Nations League games against Gibraltar and North Macedonia, and he has since gone on to make six appearances.

Reporter Stuart Hodge tweets that Norwich have signed Bromley teenager Kellen Fisher who had been linked with Brentford and Wolves. The 19-year-old has played primarily as a right midfielder for Bromley, making 25 appearances in the National League. Fisher is expected to link up with the club's under-21 side initially, with a number of new additions to their youth ranks expected to be confirmed. Gabriel Forsyth is another of those, with a deal agreed to take the 16-year-old from Hamilton Academicals this summer.

The Sheffield Star reports that Norwich as well as Sheffield Wednesday, Ipswich, Luton and Plymouth are all interested in signing Rotherham's Irish international winger Chiedozie Ogbene

Norwich are linked with signing Newcastle United fringe player Ryan Fraser on loan. The Scottish international winger is out of favourand free to leave Newcastle.

Football Insider report that Norwich are closing in on a deal for Hamilton Academical youngster Gabriel Forsyth, The 16 year old Scottish youth international has made six appearances for the Scotland Under-17s side since his debut in October 2022. He had made five appearances for Hamilton's first team.

Various reports including The Sun's Alan Nixon link Norwich with a move for Irish international central defender Shane Duffy who is currently with Fulham.

Rumours on Twitter claim Norwich, Watford, Rotherham and Southampton are all interested in signing Ryan Manning who has been released by Swansea.

Norwich are said to be chasing Mali international midfielder Lassana Coulibaly who plays for Italian Serie A side Salernitana according to reports from Italy. The Canaries are said to face competition from fellow English sides Nottingham Forest and Leicester City for Coulibaly's signature.

Norwich and West Brom were reported to be interested in Aberdeen midfielder Ross McCrorie who chose to sign for Bristol City for £2m.

Norwich City have agreed a deal to sign out of contract Burnley striker Ashley Barnes. Transfer expert Pete O'Rourke has claimed that the Canaries have completed an agreement with Barnes, who is a free agent when his contract at Turf Moor comes to an end this summer. The 33-year-old was shown around City's Colney training ground prior to their final-day defeat to Blackpool. Barnes scored six Championship goals in 39 appearances in 2022/23 to take his tally for Burnley to 54 goals in 293 appearances since joining from Brighton in 2013.

Montpellier forward Stephy Madividi and young Motherwell prospect Max Johnston are also understood to have been shown around Colney.

Blackburn Rovers and Norwich City are both keeping tabs on Belgian Under-21 intertnational midfielder Mandela Keita ahead of the summer transfer window, according to Nieuwsblad journlist David Van den Broeck. It is understood that Royal Antwerp, who signed Keita on loan from OH Leuven earlier this year, have an option to seal a permanent deal for the midfielder. However the transfer fee would be around £8.8million.

Norwich are among a clutch of English clubs monitoring FC Cincinnati striker Brandon Vazquez, according to reports from 90min.com. Crystal Palace, Everton and Bournemouth are alongside Norwich in keeping a close eye on his availability ahead of the summer as are Borussia Monchengladbach.

West Brom and Norwich City have joined the race for Motherwell defender Max Johnston according to the Scottish Sun. Luton and Blackburn are also reported to have scouted the 19 year old whilst Monaco and Udinese are also said to be interested.

The Irish Examiner reports that Norwich are facing competition from Crystal Palace and West Ham for the signature of Dundalk youngster Emmanuel Adegboyega. The 19-year-old centre-back is yet to make his debut for the Irish club but has been named on the bench for their last five Premier Division games.

Norwich City are interested in signing Marseille winger Konrad de la Fuente on loan, according to reports in Spain. The 21 year old is currently on loan in Greece with Olympiakos. The American winger joined Barcelona's academy aged 10. He made three senior appearances in Catalonia before joining Marseille for around £2.5million, going on to play 23 times during his first year in France. La Liga sides Rayo Vallecano and Real Valladolid are interested in the thrice-capped international, with further competition on the continent including Augsburg, Stuttgart, Hoffenheim, Burnley and AZ Alkmaar.

Norwich City are chasing a loan deal for Brighton & Hove Albion striker Deniz Undav according to Football League World. The German is on the Canaries' radar alongside Championship rivals Burnley, QPR, Coventry, Sunderland and Blackburn. Undav was signed by the Seagulls from Belgian club Union SG for around £6million in January 2022, but is yet to make a league start for the south coast club.

Football Insider's Pete O'Rouke is reporting that City are ready to rival Championship rivals West Brom for the loan signing of Aston Villa youngster Lamare Bogarde. Bogarde joined Villa from Feyenoord in 2020 and was named on the bench for three Premier League games earlier in the 2022/23 season. 

The 72 report that Norwich City, Sunderland, Watford, and West Brom are among the Football League teams eyeing up a January move for Hibernian and Scotland defender Ryan Porteous. Porteous, 23, sees his Hibernian contract expire at the end of this season, having recently turned down the offer of a new deal.

Norwich City have been named among a long list of clubs reportedly interested in signing Leeds United full-back Cody Drameh in the January transfer window. The England youth international has been with the Whites for over two years since switching from Fulham’s academy ranks in August 2020.  Norwich have been mentioned alongside Championship rivals Middlesbrough, with top-tier sides West Ham United, Crystal Palace and Newcastle United also reportedly keen on Drameh. But there are options abroad too, with TEAMtalk’s exclusive listing Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig and clubs in France and Italy as possible destinations.

Norwich City are in talks to sign Hertha Berlin left back Fredrik Andre Bjorkan on a season-long loan, according to reports in Germany. German outlet Bild are reporting that Norwich are in talks to sign the 24-year-old on a season-long loan after seeing Dimitris Giannoulis, Sam McCallum and Jacob Sorensen all suffer long-term injuries earlier this month. Bjorkan began his career with Bodo Glimt before earning a transfer to the Bundesliga in January 2021. 

French outlet L'Equipe are reporting that City are pushing hard to sign the Honduran international Alberth Elis on a loan from Bourdeux, with an option to buy ahead of Nantes, Galatasaray and an as-yet unnamed Belgian club. The attacker scored nine times for Bordeaux last season after joining on loan from Portuguese side Boavista in June 2021. Elis then joined the French club permanently this summer for a fee of €6m. Bordeaux have since suffered from financial issues and have been demoted to Ligue 2 as a punishment for the mismanagement of their accounts. Bordeaux are believed to want €10m to sanction a sale for the 53-time Honduran international.

Norwich City's move to sign Bosnian midfielder Amer Gojak from Dinamo Zagreb fell through due to work permit issues, according to reports from Croatia. Večernji List have claimed that the Canaries attempted to sign Gojak from Zagreb this summer, but were denied by his inability to secure a permit. Gojak, 25, has made 33 appearances for Bosnia and Herzegovina, scoring four times. He joined Dinamo from Olimpik Sarajevo in 2015, and spent part of the 2020-21 on loan with Italian side Torino.

According to a report by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the Canaries had a delegation in Washington in an attempt to secure the services of 20-year-old Canadian international Ismael Kone who plays for CF Montreal. Kone has made just 20 senior appearances for the MLS outfit but is highly sought after bursting onto the scene earlier in 2022.

Football League World report Huddersfield Town are among a host of clubs, including Middlesbrough and Norwich City, who are looking to sign midfielder Aaron Mooy on a free transfer. The Australian international has just left Shanghai Port.

Norwich City are interested in Manchester City's Marlos Moreno, according to reports from the forward's native Colombia. AS have claimed that the Canaries face competition from Championship rivals Bristol City, as well as newly promoted Sunderland.

Moreno signed for the Citizens from Atletico Nacional, but is yet to make a single appearance for Pep Guardiola's side and has spent the majority of his career on loan away from the Etihad Stadium. The 25-year-old, who prefers to operate from the right side but has also played on the left, was first loaned out to Spanish side Deportivo La Coruna, before remaining in La Liga with Girona. He made only four appearances for the Blanquivermells, however, returning to South America with Flamengo in 2018. He then had a successful spell in Mexico with Santos Laguna, following this up with a stint in Portugal with Portimonense.

Norwich City are in talks about signing Sao Paulo midfielder Gabriel Sara on a loan deal.  An agreement to sign the 23-year-old is yet to be struck with his club but there is confidence from City's side that a deal will get done.  Sara is a youth product at the Estadio do Morumbi and scored 10 goals in an impressive season in 2021

Reports in Iceland claim the Canaries are monitoring 20-year-old rising Icelandic star Kristall Mani Ingason's situation at league and cup winners Vikingur Reykjavík. Viking head coach, Arnar Gunnlaugsson, has told Icelandic media he expects Ingason to leave in this summer transfer window. The Icelandic youth international, reportedly under contact until 2024, is rated one of the best prospects in his country. Icelandic football site, Fotbolti.net, report City have scouted the midfielder on under-21 international duty.
